VRSN is a leading #1 company. Those are the types of companies you want to invest in, going forward.
They do internet fraud protection, etc.
Do you think?
This company (VRSN) should be subsidized by the Gov’t with Pinkerton Gov’t grants and Int’l court money, to expand their mission statement, and go after and jail internet hucksters / fraud criminals.

    Zee, When I double-click on the VRSN chart the chart does not show up? I don't thinl its my computer because other charts pop-up.

    What a week .. exhausted ... out of town all last week on business and then a funeral in Virginia. All very expensive. Did not trade much at all last week.

    Zee, It looks like you (and TenYear) are posting some winners. I'll be viewing the MEMBERS ONLY site next week for some alerts. I need to make some $.

  • VMC, that is such a huge red candle-( only 1 of 4 reasons) -I'd try a short at $62--I wonder what Tenyear thinks!
    $49 is the 200 day--I doubt VMC ever retests that!
  • VMC 2009 - 2010 target price of 70.8, which is just shy $1 of it's 200 day weekly--on a sales estimate--I get $74.8
  • WLT, if you did the member's site trade--it generated / expired w/ 300% profit
  • CHG +5% winner--I'd close it out, now you know the low!
  • TSCO , triple top 48.6, it has the Sales to reach reach 50.16, and the EPS to reach $54--I'm not feeling lucky, on shorting this triple top
  • If it's no longer a short at that steep middle band, then is it a LONG? YES GO LONG! ( active traders only) GG is right at that middle band 40.7, go long but use a 40.5 stop loss
  • GFI, take a look at the GFI middle bb band, GFI bounced right off it higher--just about all the gold stocks have this type of steep upward sloping middle band. If you think your gold short is going to go under that middle band, with that much steepness, the first go around, I'd have to say you are wrong!

    Z, about FSLR, I have made up my mind and will wait to see if it breaks 200 SMA ($157) tomorrow, or next week, if not, I will hold and cover at $135.
  • FSLR, when it gapped up, I have an auto rule on trades that gap up on me, DUMP half, immediately--gap ups are not likely followed by a down day.
    I also have a 5% stop loss rule--DUMP ALL! , and stop trading that stock for at least 5 days--
    See DGX chart in member's area--Dumped all, came back 10 days later and nailed it!

    Almost stopped out of FDO. Not giving it much more room. Bought LH today @63.25.Looking for a point or two.
  • FDO, 25.5 stop loss, 5% from 27 entry--RSI is 30.16 today, my best guess, is the RSI will hold above 30
  • SUN IRA update-from JULY 11 posting( +40%) --FTO reaches $15 again--probably this is as high as SUN gets for awhile $29's--30 = 200 day, I'd be surprised if SUN gets above it's 200 day, it's first attempt.
