I think the type of news, lowering prices to get the consumer, keeps RIMM down for a few days.

  • UNH 24.55 entry, I figure worse case scenario--I break even on the trade! Same reasoning with WLP entry at 46.98

    I'm not sure who thought I was going to short gold today. I mentioned something about gold selling off today as a thread for debate. So, if you happened to short gold at the open, I hope you covered within the first hour. PM stocks are running good today and it looks as though this strength could continue onward to new highs.

    I think this market is very dangerous right here. Keep your stops updated!

    they are expanding overseas bigtime. Got a friend consulting with them over in Shanghai. I dunno, personally I hate the stock because it is a snail. But, under $48 is simply a buy because you are guaranteed $54.

  • I've been on an incredible run the last 50 trades. I missed YUM and UGA, and a few more on paper trades--which makes me think,
    I'm getting the feeling my run is about to come to a halt!
    I'm sort of feeling nervous about this health insure group--I look at WLP and it's 11% down to $44--
    AGP, already went too low, WLP is easy, it's at RSI 30 today, at RSI 29 I'm out, I'll wait for $44--If I'm out of WLP, I'm also out of UNH
  • AGP lod, 21.3, 21.3 is stop loss price--I better use stop loss on UNH and WLP too, WLP is 47.0 - 1% = 46.7 or so, UNH 25-1% = 24.75

    glad were on the same page. I was out and missed that run up of UNH at the end of day. Holding on to them though.

    RIMM is on my radar as well.

  • Dow 8400 - 9000 OCT earnings season---I'll be expecting a lot of RIMM type action, when a company announces its earnings!
    AA is the first to report, and I think they will go to $16, they are the exception.

  • UNH, the chart has 25.0 as the top entry and approx 24.65 as the stop--Green area is supposed to be your guide--I modeled it after those other guys that charge $3000, green arrow , red arrow--

    I hope RIMM has one more down day maybe spiking down to it's 200ma. I will give it a shot there. FDO is a dog. Off my watchlist.
  • RIMM calls outnumber puts 3 to 1, looks doubtful you will get the RIMM, 200 day. but, I agree RIMM at that price ( 200 day ) is a no brainer.

  • RIMM is 3.5% below it's lower bb band, ( that's a pretty good overnight long signal) I think it will be up tomorrow, despite what the rest of the market is doing.

  • I like the mid bb's because of the easy stop loss. I always use 0.5% stop loss--there isn't any gray area in the trade--It either works or it doesn't.

  • FCF has a bull hammer, 5.20. 5.20 seems to me, IS the trend reversal price, I'd Buy the Dips!, It's possible I can a get 5.25 entry--I see upper bb band exit of 6.13, 100 day daily, is 6.5 or so--
    2 other exits, 100 day (weekly) = 7.3, and 1 year from now, 0.48 X 25 p/e) = $12.50
