ABV, just has to be an overnight short---I can't see it being anything else--I'm not trying it!

If you are long overnight, use tight 1% stops---I'd treat tomorrow like VIX will trade in a doji star--with a narrow channel.

SIJ hits the upper bb band, and then falls--I should be surprised !

Few economic reports this week. This week is just hard fundamentally. Technically, good to go (down). lol. I might just wait until Wed. to trade.

I think the market goes higher tomorrow--none of the major indexes are at the middle bb band--then again, a lot of the major banks are at their 20 day, ( XLF 14.75 ),and it looks difficult to get above the 20 day! It's a coin toss!

What the heck made ABV target price $87 or more--I need to go study that---That study will translate to all the off shore ADR's--example--.BIDU

Z, have you traded SRS options? URE puts are the better way to play if I remember right.

I gave up on SRS and URE options --I just play the IYR strikes--The SRS front month ITM options are delta 80 and higher--at least that's still good.

UNG: Resistance at $12 trendline, testing the waters, it acts like it wants $14 but there are two lower gaps.

If you short UNG here and it closes above $12.10, well thats just horrible luck.

MGM and LVS, they used the 50 day, for the go long signal--no imagination at all---" it's the no imagination part, that I find interesting.

The gap down Friday morning was too easy.

I should have known gold stocks would be higher today--$1000 is the new low I guess!--GLD has a NAV 98.6 = $1000 approx. So NAV is $1.40--

TM, stop loss is easy--I'd use a 74.0, or 20 cent under its 200 day--9 down days in a row--that's a pretty good GO long overnight signal. 73 is my other entry--and EWJ--the descent is slowing.

This is how bad I am in OCT!--If I say go long at $100--subtract 11% and go long at that price!
I'll do this on at least 15% of my picks--It's not my fault. It's just I don't know when to add extreme volatilism, and when not too!
I don't Think anybody does--I don't even think GS will be making their usual $100mil a month from trading stocks. They may only make $15 Million

ENER is a prime example---ENER at $10 and I'm in--But due to OCT--ENER's real low might be $10 - 11% = 8.9----$8.9 for a $35 stock--that would be a crazy price! I don't think the market will do this much extreme to ENER

You know what happens on October 1st every year if you own property? Answer: The City or County property tax assessment department mails you your property tax bill. Its due on December 31, 2009 every year (you have 3 months to pay your property tax.). Well, I received my property tax bills on October 1st: totaled nearly $6,940. Ouch!!! (My property taxes dropped some compared to 2 years ago but not like you would expect being in a recession and property values lower. What's teh deal? ). ( I could have escrowed some $ and pay monthly, but I chose to invest my $ in hopes that my investment profits pay for the property tax (and other bills) at the end of the year.)

Zee, I need a few "Long term" (3 month) trades to pay this bill. What do you suggest? XOM? ... RIMM? I saw that Member DD is buying 700 shares of RIMM and holding until December.

I'm not sure how far or long this correction will take us. But, historically, good tech like RIMM, AAPL, AMZN, or GOOG are the leaders during Nov. through the end of the year. The economy is obviously not getting better, everyone should be patient yet prudent. If everyone heads for the exits on profit taking and the dollar bounces, it could be a nasty storm.

RIMM at 64 or now or at RSI 25, approx 58, ENER at 10, sell $13-$14,
OCT and JULY are by far my worst trading month---SEPT is always my best trading month----year after year--

My worst months are always August and September no question.

Think about it, for a sec. If OCT is my worst trading month, just think how "Worse it is for less experienced investors?"

NOV--I do great!--It's probably because I've digested most of the earnings from OCT, and I get a better read on the correct P/E's

Wow!! I was just looking art XOM yesterday BEFORE you even posted the XOM chart. ... Confirmation of a winning trade?? Yes, most likely. My alert is set to buy XOM. However, a question: Would you buy XOM or RIMM? Also, maybe I should or should I wait until AFTER October earnings come out in another week or so? The Market may drop again if earnings or under estimates like the Market dropped after Friday's Unemployment numbers. Zee, my IRA money is still just sitting with my broker. The hammer is cocked but have not hit the trigger to buy yet.

(I'll look on the left column.) You know ... your education background, hobbies, your first trade, likes and dislikes, what attracted you to trading (besides the money), etc.

Also, contact that guy that does interviews with traders. He has a web site with many many trader interviews. It cost about $50 or more to hear all interviews but he allows you to hear up to 5 interviews free. You got to contact that guy. You definitely qualify for an interview. The exposure may help your web site.
