  • JCP nov 40 puts, look good at 5.70, although tomorrow if JCP is still a doji star, the NOV 40 puts might go to 5.50

  • The really good companies are staying above their 200 day, that's 2 in a row now--V,QCOM
  • AA reports AH, and if you are long gold stocks--AA up, you'll be up!
  • Salt pollution, ( it's not in your vocabulary now, but it will be) Before you can harvest Hydrogen out of sea water, you have to find a way to grow and transport salt crystals, out of the sea water.

  • Yum! Brands (YUM 34.28, -0.59) posted better-than-expected earnings of its own, but raised its 2009 guidance. Costco (COST 59.20, +1.27) posted quarterly adjusted earnings that topped the consensus

    Z, is it time to revisit a long position in SYNA again? There was some pretty heavy volume on the NOV 23 calls today. IMO it may have formed a bottom yesterday. One thing is for sure, a lot of investors have to be sweating in their boots when it took out the 23.92 low it formed from it's earnings release in July.

    I've been watching SYNA...falling knife. So tomorrow if it dips you could buy with a stop at $22.59. However, SYNA loves to tag that bottom bollinger band on the weekly, which I have at $19.63 and dropping fast. At $16, SYNA is an all-in on the weekly inverse H&S forming.
  • SYNA the MACD histo and the SLow sto look like they are reversing, from downtrend to uptrend--EPS is down last 90 days--I guess they can't fire people to save money--It's probably expensive for them to train new people.

    Z, I am still holding FDO from 27 and UNH from 24.6. Since I bought them, FDO will never cross 27 and UNH will never cross 25
  • FDO is working today--UNH is having a great deal of trouble getting above it's 200 day--I don't know why--When the healthcare bill gets passed, their business is getting " all of a sudden bigger"
