DECEMBER 1 UPDATE
The highest GLD has been above it’s 200 day –only, 2X before, is approx 25%–at GLD = 118.75 that’s 25% above it’s 200 day..
you then get a 10% pullback and another leg up 20% above the weekly 13 day MA, 105 + 20% = 129.1
I’m going to go with Gold tops out at ++$1300, sometime in JAN.

I always find composite trades fascinating. Officially, they didn’t happen.
Un-officially–Well there it is, right there on my screen.

With so many of the other good bloggers out there, still holding their short sells, from last week–I’m inclined to follow the HERD.
I didn’t open any new long positions today–
NYX and ERTS are on my very short watch list–

    Well ... Zee ... you were corect about my NTES short. I sold at 38.45 Tuesday am. Lost $450. I should have bailed earlier. The Biggest loss I had in a while. I am working on making that loss up .. any ideas.

    NTES, you are on the right track. That Chinese gov't regulations will keep NTES from going above it's upper bb band --approx 42--that's for sure.

    Z, look at CSTR at aroung 24
  • CSTR, looks like COCO, takes off NOW at the double bottom. CSTR EPS checks out fabulous.
    CSTR 12-2 1.58 x 27 = 42.66 potential 2010 target price.

  • TSCO, ever since it reached $54, I can't figure out where to go long, did they deserve to be $54, yes exactly $54 and no more! 47 08 high +15%, next 5 years growth rate = 54

  • UAUA 9.2, last high was 9.7, this could go to $40, 2012,2013 if they ( the economy) can ever get it together. SHORT at 9.7
  • USO and UGA report, both were bad, for 2 down days in a row--UNG report tomorrow, that might lift them up, or keep the sinking going, if UNG misses too!

    too tough to call. I'm thinking up though.
  • TM, bounced off its 200 day 3 times in a row, and now it's a white soldier, 1.5% rectangle pattern, flag, so even if I get the short right, I have to get out at 1.5% down, then go long for 1.5%
  • AA, the lower bb band worked as a long signal--3 days ago. up 5% today 13.4, 13.8 is the upper band short sell signal
  • JEC is doing one of those up 0.5% a day for 11 days in a row--I bet

  • Dubai! or lack of gov't business, missed earnings, they gov,t 99mil FAA business, yesterday--They need more gov't business.
  • NTES, upper bb band is $42--I think the strength is there to get there--where I can SHORT IT
  • GLD 118.88 + 0.4% = 119.35--that's the top, ( 25% above the 200 day) then I'm expecting a 10% pullback, 105.0 or so
  • The undervalued, Gold stocks (GG,ABX) are following Gld, and not $USD today--

    I saw that. Hope you win on that one soon. Still thinking gdx, etc. will lead gold when turndown occurs for precious metals. What exits are you looking at for GG, PCU and where will you stop out?

    Watch the futures & swaps in natty they need to turn. If you can make money longing UNG you can make money doing anything. I thought UNG had capitulated already but maybe not.
    No play for me.
  • UNG, falling knife, I'll wait for the first up day--I hope that first up day 1 or 2%, up 6% and that takes me out of the play.

  • GG, EPS raised approx 5% since my 10-7 chart--44-45 +5% = 46.2-47.25, new short sell price. PCU, anything above $24 is a short, it's at 36.3, which is really a short, 37 and 38 against me, but I doubt 37-38 will happen

    The dollar needs to capitulate. I guess a slow death will make the market rise for years. LOL
  • Europe is printing just as much money as the US is printing--That sort of caps FXE, imo. So is Japan!

  • I guess that's the back lash, when the gov't / banks go on a 40 year run, to wipe out the middle class.
  • GSS 2 year high--4.20--up 1000% from 2008-Oct lows
  • There's a high and tight flag, that says GOLD the stock will reach $89, and it did. Pull back could be all the way down to $75 or $60
  • PCU, backed off, just enough to leave room for a potential 35.8 retest tomorrow-Maybe I'll get a gap down, so I can keep my profits
  • 3 hours after open, is usually when you get the best short sell price on Gold stocks, other times it's opening bell, or at the close

  • Back in NEM DEC60p for 5.25. I played it smarter this time, low balling the POS.

  • NEM, I have 56 and 57 against me, anything above that, and the market is getting exuberant.
    I'm taking a full position short NEM,GOLD,GG,PCU position,
  • Frankfurt overnight, dow futures up 56, but XOM and WMT both down 1%--if those don't go positive intraday, they could be a drag on the dow.
    USO might crash on the Oil report---That'll hurt XOM even more. We'll see
  • Thanksgiving bears, Xmas bulls, well these are clusters of time, Sometimes the Xmas rally doesn't officially begin until it's January. Just thought you'd like to know.
