Broadcom Corporation engages in the design, development, and supply of semiconductors for wired and wireless communications equipment manufacturers.     Z, did you take the IWM short today?
  • I shorted IWM, 1/6th position, order went thru by 0.13 cents, cutting it close--I have that nasty $62 against me--using a 61.1 ( 1%) stop loss.
  • LONG ERTS JAN 15 calls FILLED 1.55
  • ERTS, 11-17 chart--says to go long at 17.5, obviously a huge miss on my part, I was stopped out 3%, long ago, ---15.57, makes it an 11% miss--that's the most I ever miss---8% is my norm---or 16.1---ERTS at 16.1 NOW!
    btw, I only get stopped out 2 or 3 times a month, out of 50--It's not something that happens very often. When it does happen to me, I've learned when to re-enter with a 3X position or 9% of the account--

  • Yes, sell the SRS puts, but I wouldn't turn around just yet and go long--I'm waiting for VNO $73, We'll see. At VNO $73, I'm taking a 3X position Short IYR, VNO,SPG, all of the holdings, right down the line.

  • ESI, if ESI goes to $82, I'll buy a 1/10 position in the JAN 90 calls--the potential to let that expire at 30.00 is there, +2000%. it's just to great to pass up.

    Congrays Zee!!!! On those Gold shorts. I guess you held your positions?!?! You knew they were going to drop and they did ... Finally. Gold too much momentum for me. I felt like I could not run against that huge Gold herd.

    been a great day so far. i was short gold this morning and then shorted /es at 1110.5 this morning..plus a daytrade on /cl that i closed out already. An easy $15k and i think i will take the rest of the day oof!

  • If NEM breaks 52, then I think it's going down. I have already taken profit. 25%+ is nothing to sneeze at. But at the same time, left 35% on the table.
