On a side note!
I’d like to see the DOW around 10,000, beginning of JAN earnings season..
Then I’ll know for sure, to go long 66% / have a positive bias,
of all stocks on their earnings report.
If I were a GS employee, I’d be begging the bosses,
” Can you set up this scenario for me, before Jan earnings season?”
It will, all but insure, that I get a big fat bonus for 2010, too!,

  • There are 2 people that never confirmed, one on 11-30 and one on 12-10, so Check out those dates and see if you forgot to confirm. ( By US Email Statutes ) The confirm has to get done. It's called (double opt in), if you were curious about the regulations.

    Wow, CECO getting taken to the woodshed on a Dept of Education memo taking them to task for the way they claim credit hours for their students at American Intercontinental University.Down 18 percent today.

    worst case: the government bailed not because C is ready to be on their own, but rather because C is going under. Scary thought.

  • I think you need to take up a small position in ABX, it's supported by FXA, add more at lower prices.

    Seems like everybody and his mother is watching to see if VMED breaks out above 17.It has been going sideways for a month. I probably would not play this unless it is accompanied by very large volume.

(C) fell 7.8%, to $3.18, in recent premarket activity Thursday morning as investors expressed dismay at the low price the company was able to get for a secondary share offering, as well as concern about the offering's dilutive effect on shareholders. Adding to the sour tone around the sale, which raised $20 billion that Citi will use to pay off the government's TARP investment, the U.S. Treasury, which had planned to sell some of its Citi stake, said it was delaying the sale because of the weak pricing.

    It'll be interesting how the new laws will be written, when "too big to fail", are divided into divisions.
    Ask George Schultz how that works. He wrote how it's done in 1968.
