It's already started. This is just a minor bear rally, before the next dip.
For your IRA, I'm pretty sure you can buy TWM ( inverse IWM), that will protect against all the longs in there.
TWM is very near to its 200 day.

STLD is always tough to call. $4 eps was $40 high --$2 eps is $20 high?-13.5 has been the short sell price in the past few ups and downs. I'd use a 13.8 stop loss--

JACK is Dec 13th's post--and wiped that chart out---10X -09 eps = tgt pr. 22.9, at RSI 64, now. only has ONE blue bar on the MACD. I don't like shorting or going long with one blue bar. I'm going to wait one day. JACK will retest 22 = 200 day sooner or later, it's inevitable. So, at 23.8 entry , that's a winning entry---

I'm still bullish on financial sector.. Same strategy.. long financials short ES. No changes to that.. 892 is the high target for ES.
But tomorrow opening I may close BCS and BAC depending on hwo they open..

I have all three methods covered. I have buy and hold, swing trades and day trades.
You can do all three on most of my picks.
Most of my members buy shares.
I try to teach basic options and to keep everybody in safe strikes.
What's important is there's a real reason I'm getting 90% of my trades correct.

VIX Family: Likely to decline a day or two. This is the only argument I see for staying long with any conviction and it is in a sideways patten..

You have so many winners you can't keep up!! You left out GDX? Your post in the Members Only site fro GDX was on Saturday, January 24th. See your chart ... you said, 'short near or at 36.0 ... GDX probably will not go above the 200sma' [my paraphrase]. Great call.

I find usually find two or 3 a day to play. there's always 3 or 4 from the last two days or so that come into play, and a couple from 5 days ago--5 day true hi / lo rules--That's nine plays a day---Somedays, I lack the manpower to keep up with all of it.
